A Follow Up on What Beyblade Releases to Expect in 2022 And Beyond

This will be a short article as we will be re-visiting my earlier predictions and see how the predictions flared. I will end this article with few comments on outlook for 2023.

You can refer to the table below. This was written in February 2022 for my predictions for 2022 releases. We know the release details for B-196 to B-202. I have color coded the items - green means the prediction was correct, yellow means prediction was partially correct and red means the prediction was wrong. My earlier predictions mentioned that B-199 to B-202 will be a full set with stadiums which didn't turn out to be true but I do believe there will be more stadium/sets this year. Also, the new layer after DB, Ultimate layer series, was released with B-198 random booster while my earlier prediction said it would be with B-199.

The table below has the names of the releases so far and my new predictions. I strongly believe there will be at least one stadium set release this year but the total number of releases have gone down significantly. Like B-182 and B-183, Takara Tomy may decide to release one battle set and one stadium only - for that we just need to wait and see. As usual, December should have a Booster release before Christmas for which I am beyond excited. This may be something like Ultimate Spriggan, similar trend as Ultimate Valkyrie in December 2021. I am also predicting that there may be one more WBBA release in December. The reason for that will be clear in the closing remarks below.

Closing Remarks - Burst has been around for ~4 years. Albeit the most popular beyblade type, I believe Takara Tomy will look into a new type of beyblades beyond Burst in early 2023. Perhaps a complete new type or hybrid of Burst - It is hard to predict at this point. Hence it is important to note that these last few releases will be extremely important and possibly one of best from Burst series. I am beyond excited for these last 5 months in 2022!
